Managing I.T.

It is necessary for the I.T. Center staff to operate on standard procedures to make setup, deployment and maintenance easy. A good technical documentation is one way to enable the team to achieve this.

This document contains the guidelines in creating or reading such manuals.

An I.T. Center technical manual covers one or more of the following aspects:

• installation of computer software
• assembly of computer hardware
• computer repair and servicing
• network setup and administration
